As a socially responsible brand we at Chanmaya like to share the love and like to give back. Yoga is a beautiful and very powerful practice that brings many health benefits to its followers. In particular those health benefits can make a whole lot of a difference to cancer patients.

The positive ties between yoga and cancer care are astounding. Yoga is an amazing way to promote relaxation and general health, making practice an invaluable tool in helping patients cope with their medical treatment, side-effects, and emotional response. This positive connection is what we want to support.

The design that we created for this charity project was done by one of Chanmaya’s favourite Venezuelan artist. Using different shades of soft pink – the color adopted by breast cancer charities worldwide – the design depicts a beautiful and defiant woman surrounded by butterflies; butterflies are a deep and powerful representation of life, endurance and hope.

50% of the towel price will be going to Brest Friends in partnership with Al Jalila Foundation.

It is also available in selected partnering outlets or can be ordered through Pink Ribbon Crafters. Check out their work on Facebook @pinkribboncrafters
